Digital Imaging & Graphics Studio
Location: WH-214

This facility is setup to support high performance scanning, printing, drafting, and some video editing via 8 (new summer 09) Macintosh workstations for undergraduate courses, special lectures, and other special events. Workstation hardware includes flatbed scanners, film scanners, camera stands, USB flashcard readers, a cutting board, network printer and pin up space. The installed LCD projection system with AV podium provides instructors with a variety of multimedia presentation formats such as DVcam, SVHS, DVD, DAT and Mac or PC laptops. Software in this lab consist of Adobe CS3 master suite, frame thieft, Toast, Adobe After effects and final cut studio (1 station only).

  • 1 Mac intel G5 teacherworkstation.
  • 2 Microtek 9800xl scanners.
  • 4 Epson 4490 flatbed scanners
  • 2 Epson 1440 printers.
  • 1 Xerox 6200dx network printer
  • 2 mini repro camera capture stands
  • LCD Projection system.
  • Podium system with AV equipment for presentations

Software:

  • OSX 10.5.8
  • Adobe CS$ master suite.
  • Frametheif
