iEAR Studios facilities


Intermediate Video Laboratory
Location: West Hall-113

This place is an 6-workstation non-linear video post production studio-classroom with DVD authoring capabilities that supports courses in both Intermediate and Advanced Video as well as some topics courses. 

 

Hardware:

  • 6 (8 core) Mac pro desktop computers with JVC HD monitors and AJA HD video cards
  • 1 SONY HDV recorders
  • 4 SONY DVcam recorders
  • LCD Projection system
  • Mackie mixer and tannoy monitors
  • Roland desktop monitors
  • San Disc flashcard readers

Software:

  • Apple Final Cut Pro 5
  • Adobe CS4 master suite including after effects
  • OSX 10.5
