Ivy Kwan was born in New York, raised in New York, and now is going to college in New York. She will probably die here as well. She's been drawing from her imagination since kindergarten and will always prefer dragons and space marines to "fine art." Everyone around her thought she would be going off to art school the moment she graduated, but somehow she ended up at an engineering institute instead. If there was one thing she could simultaneously thank and blame, it would be high school art classes.
Ivy's medium of choice is Photoshop and a Wacom tablet, though she won't ever say no to good old pencil and class notes paper. She specializes in digital painting, although she has also dabbled in graphic design, hand-drawn animation, photomanipulation and texture making. She enjoys designing characters and concepts for hypothetical video games and has always been interested in the artistic production of popular games like Halo, Gears of War, and World of Warcraft. Yes, she plays those games too. Except for WoW.
Other interests include metal, sci-fi and fantasy, webdesign, programming, and atrophying in front of a computer with Firefox open. Her best friends have made attempts to get her into Warhammer 40,000 and have been, for the most part, succeeding.
