Darren is originally from Easton, Massachusetts, and is an undergraduate member of the class of 2010. He has an electronic arts major with two minors: one in Games and Simulation Arts and Sciences and one in music.
He spent the last two summers working at 1st Playable Games in Troy, NY as an assistant artist, and plans to continue working in the game development industry after graduation. He is primarily interested in 2D art and animation, as well as conceptual art and character design.
Darren is an avid bass guitar player and singer, performing in two student based rock bands. He is also a dedicated actor, performing notably as the lead, Picasso, in the RPI Player's own Picasso at the Lapin Agile in 2007. In addition he co-created his own group on campus named Speak Up!, which is a public speaking and drama group committed to helping fellow students build these skills in a constructive environment.
